Digital Image Processing Applied to Time Series in GEE

This course aims to explore digital image processing techniques applied to time series using Google's Earth Engine (GEE) platform. Participants will learn how to manipulate and process geospatial data (i.e., vectors and rasters) within the GEE environment. Topics such as data filtering, image algebra, masking, and value remapping will be covered, along with texture extraction analysis techniques and statistics applied to spectral and temporal bands. The course will also include building composites, principal component analysis, and applying regression to time series. By the end of the course, participants will be prepared to apply these skills in real-world projects involving environmental monitoring and change detection over.
